Exploode Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") operates The Healthy Pot mobile application and website (thehealthypot.app). We are committed to protecting your personal data and your right to privacy.

2. Data We Collect
Account Information
Name, email address, and authentication provider (Google, Apple, or email) when you create an account.
Health & Nutrition Preferences
Your selected health goal (Energy, Liver Health, or Digestion), household size, and optional personalization data (age, height, weight, activity level) if you choose to provide it.
Usage Data
Recipes viewed, meals logged, shopping lists created, challenge progress, and search history within the app.
Subscription Data
Subscription status and platform (iOS/Android). Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play or Apple App Store — we never see or store your payment details.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Provide the service: Match recipes to your ingredients, track nutrition, and personalize recommendations.
- Calculate nutrition targets: Your optional personalization data is used solely to calculate daily calorie and macro targets using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation.
- Improve the app: Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us understand which features are most useful.
- Communicate with you: Service-related emails only (account verification, critical updates). No marketing emails without your consent.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS, US East region) with:
- Row Level Security (RLS) on every database table — you can only access your own data
- Encrypted connections (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit
- Encrypted storage for data at rest
- JWT-based authentication tokens
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only shared with:
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider (data processor)
- Google Play / Apple App Store — for subscription management (they are independent controllers)
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email support@thehealthypot.app. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated statistics may be retained indefinitely.
8. Children's Privacy
The Healthy Pot is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
